A woman died yesterday in England when she was hit by a train because she was wearing Uggs. Uggs, apparently, are easily stuck on train tracks in Britain because of a series wooden slats designed to keep animals away.

Not to belittle someone dying and everything but finally, someone who wears such fugly footwear has learned their lesson.

I think the important lesson to be learned from this death is the dangers of footwear. High heels can be caught in grates on roadways and a rushing jaywalker gets hit by a car, etc. What a waste of a life if the lessons aren't heeded.
Eww. Uggs are uggly. Enough said.
I swear, someone shoot me if I ever have those on my feet!
they're so lazy looking! I think I would rather leave my house in pasties and a diaper than those things.
I don't understand why people like them so much.
why didn't she just take them off if they were stuck?
thats more what i'm wondering instead of why she was wearing uggs...
